Magic of Advent on the Rhine, Frankfurt - Cologne - Frankfurt (4 Days)

Embark

Embark in Frankfurt at 16.00hrs.

Day 1: Frankfurt

Board your luxurious Amadeus cruise ship in Frankfurt from 4pm onwards. There will be time to settle in to your stateroom or suite before a Welcome Cocktail and Welcome Dinner on board.

Day 2: Koblenz – Cologne

Arrive in Koblenz in the early morning, where you may wish to join an optional city walk, taking in the Christmas Market. The traditional Christmas Market is held in the picturesque Old Town, boasting over 130 stalls full of seasonal gift ideas. Then set sail towards Cologne. This afternoon you have the option of joining a walking tour of Cologne, taking in the imposing cathedral and the best of the Advent markets. This evening the Captain invites you to his Gala Dinner, complete with a show performed by the crew.

Day 3: Ruedesheim – Mainz

The popular town of Ruedesheim is this afternoon's port of call. An optional walking tour of the town will introduce you to the famous Drosselgasse, a long cobbled street, lined with wine taverns on both sides. You can also visit Siegfried's Music Museum to see all kinds of mechanical instruments, from music boxes to barrel organs. From here sail to Mainz for the evening where you can visit the Christmas Market.

Day 4: Frankfurt

Your “Magic of Advent on the Rhine” cruise comes to an end this morning. Disembark in Frankfurt for your onward journey.
