Embark

Board flight from Paris to Longyearbyen and transfer to the ship. Embark the ship in Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen.

Day 1: Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen

Board your flight from Paris to Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen. On arrival you will be greeted and transferred to the vessel in Longyearbyen. There will be time to settle in to your stateroom before your first gourmet dinner on board tonight.

Day 2: Gnalodden - Horn Glacier, Hornsund

Today the ship calls at Gnalodden in Svalbard home to thousands of nesting birds such as black-legged kittiwakes and guillemots. Continue onto the impressive Horn Glacier.

Day 3: Bakanbukta - Ginevrabotnen - Agardhbukta

Today the ship will sail between Bakanbukta and Agardhbukta offering magical landscapes, jagged mountains and ancient glaciers.

Day 4: Boltodden - Isbukta

Visit Boltodden with its striking landscapes and rock formations, then continue onto Isbukta and its breathtaking glaciers and mountainous scenery.

Day 5: Ahlstrandhalvoya, Bellsund

Arrive at Ahlstrandhalvoya, located on the southern part of the Bellsund fjord. You will discover Beluga bones lying on the beach and driftwood and trappers' cabins.

Day 6: Ny-Alesund - Kongsbreen, Kongsfjorden

Arrive at Ny-Alesund, a research town on the island of Spitsbergen. The town provides facilities for researchers from around the world and was the starting point for famous explorers’ racing to the North pole. Continue to Kongsbreen, Kongsfjorden, a giant glacier located on the western side of Spitsbergen.

Day 7: Sailing towards the Ice Floes

Day 8: Daghogda, Wijdefjorden

Arrive at this gigantic fjord which almost separates the island of Spitsbergen in two. You will be surrounded by spectacular glacial scenery.

Day 9: Jotunkjeldene - Monaco Glacier

Arrive at the Jotunkjeldene thermal springs surrounded by red sandstone mountains and the Sverrefjell volcano. Continue to the Monaco Glacier (Monacobreen), an immense glacier located at the far end of the Liefdefd Fjord.

Day 10: At Sea

Spend the day at sea as the ship sails towards Ytre Norskøya Island, one of the smallest islands near the northwestern corner of Spitsbergen. Here you will find the remains of a 17th century whaling station.

Day 11: Signehamna - Fjortende Julibukta

Arrive at the harbour of Signehamna, an area of natural beauty. Continue onto the impressive Fjortende Julibukta fjord and glacier.

Day 12: Alkhornet - Nordenskiold Glacier

Arrive at Alkhornet located at the northern entrance of Isfjorden and a striking landmark. Continue onto the glistening Nordenskiold Glacier.

Day 13: Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen

Your epic voyage ends back in Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen where you will disembark the ship. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to Paris.

Disembark the ship in Longyearbyen, Spitsbergen. Transfer to airport and board your return flight to Paris.
