Launched in 2018, Le Lapérouse is the first of a new series of Explorer ships that remain true to the Ponant spirit, embodying the unique atmosphere that is the cruise line’s hallmark: a subtle blend of refinement, intimacy and comfort. The ship offers guests elegantly designed cabins, spacious suites with large windows, and lounge areas that open onto the outside, this new limited-capacity yacht boasting just 92 cabins and suites will offer you a truly unique cruising experience. Le Lapérouse will be the first cruise ship on Earth to be equipped with a multi-sensory underwater space, called Blue Eye, located within the hull beneath the water line.

Loyal to the great French tradition, the haute cuisine on board is worthy of the finest restaurants, where discreet, attentive service is the hallmark. The relaxed dining area located on Deck 3 can seat 70 and serves grilled meats daily, along with a variety of salads and desserts. To the back of Deck 4, you will find a 260 m² panoramic restaurant which can accommodate all passengers in a single sitting. Designed differently to that on our other ships, this dining area, which opens onto the outside, will have a buffet of salads, desserts and cheeses at your disposal. The discreet and attentive crew will provide table service for hot meals.

Guests can enjoy the wonderful Pool Deck located on deck 3. The pool has wonderful panoramic views and is equipped with a counter-current swimming system. You will also find a pleasant solarium and an outdoor bar and lounge with armchairs and sofas.

The spacious lounge measuring 200sq m can accommodate all of our passengers to share convivial moments and to host activities organised during the day or evening.

The theatre is located on deck 3 and seats 188. It is equipped with the latest sound and lighting technology and a LED wall as the stage backdrop, for the projection of high-resolution images and videos.
