Luang Say

Cruising along the mythical Mae Kong River amidst the enigmatic mountainous stretches and the black pristine forests of Laos, the Luang Say boat is a purpose-built 34 metre with a 420 HP engine and a steel hull for strength and safety. This luxury river barge is equipped with a capacity of 40 comfortable seats each, with an open air vista and lounge furniture. Guests can enjoy the stunning landscapes and be fascinated by the untouched beautiful river life along the Mae Kong River as the Luang Say stops for overnight in Luang Say Lodge or Kamu Lodge.

Luang Say and Kamu Lodge

LuangSay Lodge

Elegantly located above the Mekong River, both Luang Say Lodge and Kamu Lodge are a dwelling masterpiece blending artfully into the natural surroundings. Through careful landscaping, raised platforms and indigenous styling, the Luang Say Lodge features 16 large pavilions with a total of 19 rooms, each furnished in dark toned wood and equipped with high ceiling mosquito nets, electric fans and a large private bathroom with hot shower and western style toilet. For the 3 Day Mae Kong Cruise, guests will have the opportunity to live the genuine Laotian experience in The Kamu Lodge. The lodge features 20 canvas tents covered by a thatched roof in harmony with the surrounding nature and adapted to the local lifestyle. Each tent is decorated with bamboo and wooden furniture items and has an attached private bathroom with shower and toilet and solar-powered warm water and electricity.
