Embark the ship in Havana.
Day 1: Havana
Board the Variety Voyager at the Sierra Maestra Cruise Terminal in Havana between 3-4pm. Meet your crew and fellow passengers as the ship sets sail and later enjoy a Welcome Dinner.
Day 2: Havana
Wake up in Havana where you may choose from two optional excursions to either around Old Havana on foot, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy a guided walking tour through Old Havana streets and squares and stop to see the scale model of the Old City, to the “Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos” Workshop/School for artisans and craftspeople specializing in monuments restoration. Alternatively you may enjoy an optional full day excursion with lunch in the Pinar del Rio province. You will visit the Valley of Vinales, one of Cuba's most scenic regions and an UNESCO World Heritage site. In the evening enjoy a Cuban night.
Day 3: Havana - Maria La Gorda - Bahia de Corrientes
This morning you may join an optional walking tour in the Old City or choose an optional excursion to the Artemisa Region outside Havana. Drive by bus to the UNESCO designated Biosphere Reserve Las Terrazzas in the mountainous Sierra del Rosario area. Return to the ship for lunch as she departs Havana early afternoon for Maria la Gorda.
Day 4: Maria La Gorda
Mid morning arrival in Maria La Gorda where you may join an optional excursion to the Guanahacabibes National Park, one of the country's largest nature reserves. You will meet with environmentalists at the CITMA Environmental Research Station. Meet with environmentalists at the CITMA Environmental Research Station as well. Enjoy lunch before continuing your exploration of the park with local community members and scientists to see the results of the Endangered Species Protection Projects and Environmental Education Programs. Alternatively you can spend the day at nearby beach snorkeling and enjoying the sun and sea. Overnight at sea to Cayo Largo.
Day 5: Cayo Largo
Arrive at Cayo Largo, formed by limestone over millions of years. Here you may enjoy an optional afternoon excursion to the Sea Turtle Breeding Centre and Endangered Species Protection program and join coral reef experts for a two and half hour guided snorkeling experience. Later in the evening the ship sails for Casilda.
Day 6: Casilda
Arrive early morning in the port of Casilda. Here you may join a full day optional excursion to Trinidad. The Spanish colonial settlement once built on huge sugar fortunes is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be opportunities to visit the studios of local artists, the Museum Romantico or the Architecture Museum. After lunch you will visit Valley de los Ingenios also a UNESCO World Heritage site. Mid afternoon the ship sets sail for Cienfuegos.
Day 7: Cienfuegos
Today you may join an early morning optional excursion to Playa Giron, also known as the Bay of Pigs and the Matanzas area. Visit the War Museum and later the Mantanzas area where you will take boat ride on the Treasure Lake. In the afternoon explore Cienfuegos independently or join an optional city tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening enjoy the Captain's Farewell Dinner.
Day 8: Cienfuegos
Your voyage ends in Cienfuegos where you will disembark. Transfer by bus from Cienfuegos to Abel Santamaria Airport.
Disembark the ship in Cienfuegos and transfer by bus to Havana Melia Cohiba Hotel.
